2019年７月13日（土）１４：００～　本学Ｓ１０１教室において、特別講演会を開催しました。講師は和歌山県立博物館学芸員の坂本亮太氏、演題は「地域博物館と中世史研究」です。

　講演は和歌山県立博物館の説明から始まり、学芸員の仕事の内容、展示に至るまでの手続きや資料保存のあり方などが紹介されていきました。その後、展示を実現するための研究活動の説明がなされ、地域とそこに残る資料との対話、それに対する深い研究が必要であること、それは苦労をともなうものでもあるが、一方で大きな楽しみややりがいを感じられる機会でもあることが説かれました。

 講演後には「何でも聞いてみよう」のコーナーが設けられ、坂本氏はご自分の体験を踏まえ、多くの質問に丁寧に答えてくださいました。講演によって、学芸員の仕事にさらに興味を持った学生も多く、講演は大きな拍手で終了しました。

　We have held a special lecture in S101 room of Shujitsu university from 14:00 on 13th, July, 2019. The lecturer was Mr.SAKAMOTO Ryohta, a curator of Wakayama prefecture museum and the title was "Local meseums and the Study on medieval history of Japan". 

　After the introduction of Wakayama prefecture museum, the lecturer explained the daily work of curators, the process of exhibition, the way of preservation of various historical materials and so on. It may be difficult for curators to study deeply about the local societies to have inherited and maintained many heritages and materials, however such deep-understanding is very important and  sometimes brings them the senses of fulfillment and the pleasure.

　After the lecture we had the time of 'Questions and Answers', many persons asked their questions and the lecturer gave plain answers and explanations in detail. Many students came to have more intersts in the work of museum curators through this lecture；the lecturer received much applause and the meeting finished successfully. We deeply thank for Mr. SAKAMOTO to have given us very meaningful time.
